He’s doing great! I’m loving hearing actual songs now. Ode to Joy is my favorite. I make him play it for me all the time. 🙂 Enjoy some of his practice.

We live in a renovated one room school house. Actually, it’s 120 years old. And look what the dog dug up in the back yard this month??
How awesomely cool is that?!
While having a fun evening at Putt Putt, I asked for my standard pic of the boys next to the giraffe….but Patrick was grumpy with his game and refused. When he struck this pose,
it took me back to another time when he didn’t want his picture taken! 😆

On a bright note, I FINALLY beat Shannon! 🙂
It was a stormy morning complete with rain, lightning and thunder right at bus time, so we huddled on the front porch for my picture. Unbelievable that they’re this old! Here’s to a great year!
We had a great time visiting with Nate, Kimberly, Halle and Eleanor. We really didn’t hear from the boys much that trip as they had a blast playing with Halle. It was nice! We had good adult visiting. 🙂
We celebrated Eleanor’s second birthday!
We visited Manassas National Battlefield Park. Very awing. To stand on a battlefield. Believe it or not, my first time experiencing that.

This was a funny moment. We saw Mac taking Halle and Patrick’s picture. Cute. Then I found this video on my camera once home. Hahaha!

Then we visited the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Another awesome experience that the boys really enjoyed!
There are a TON of pics here!
Now we’re ready for the school year!
