Okay, I’ve posted quite a few posts from the summer. There are several posts that date all the way back to May that I’ve put here. So feel free to go all the way back to see them all. (click on older posts). Nothing deep. Just mostly pictures of our adventures. 🙂
You can also check out all our crazy pics and hear most of our stories through the pics and captions if you check out all these albums:
As always, I had a blast visiting the boys’ classrooms. While fourth grade is an adjustment for Mac, both boys are doing a great job and working hard this year.
Their desks
A project Mac’s class worked on
Checking in!
I wonder who’s behind that book?!
Enjoying shaved ice and then playing with friends for a bit.
On the eve of the anniversary of one of America’s darkest days, I think the words of my current favorite song say it all. Love like you’re going to lose it all, because you just never know what tomorrow holds.
I found myself dreaming
In silver and gold
Like a scene from a movie
That every broken heart knows
We were walking on moonlight
And you pulled me close
Split second and you disappeared
And then I was all alone
I woke up in tears
With you by my side
A breath of relief
And I realized
No, we’re not promised tomorrow
So I’m gonna love you like I’m gonna lose you
And I’m gonna hold you like I’m saying goodbye
Wherever we’re standing
I won’t take you for granted
‘Cause we’ll never know when, when we’ll run out of time
So I’m gonna love you like I’m gonna lose you
I’m gonna love you like I’m gonna lose you
In the blink of an eye
Just a whisper of smoke
You could lose everything
The truth is you never know
So I’ll kiss you longer baby
Any chance that I get
I’ll make the most of the minutes
And love with no regrets
Let’s take our time to say what we want
Here’s what we got before it’s all gone
‘Cause no, we’re not promised tomorrow
So I’m gonna love you like I’m gonna lose you
I’m gonna hold you like I’m saying goodbye
Wherever we’re standing
I won’t take you for granted
‘Cause we’ll never know when, when we’ll run out of time
Jesus, thank you for all that I have in this life. Thank you that once it’s over, you’ve promised it will be even better. But while I’m still here on this earth, help me to appreciate all that you’ve given me. Help me to enjoy the today. The here and now. Because it’s gone all too quickly.
