First up: Locked Away – R. City ft. Adam Levine.

Okay, I’ve heard this song on the radio a few times now and each time makes me like it more.  Here are a few thoughts about it:

1.  I do not get the lyrics. The official video helped a little, but still…don’t get locked up.  It’s your choice, but whatever…
2. I LOVE Adam Levine’s voice. I laugh through the R. City parts (what’s up…?) but belt it out with Adam during his parts.
3. It has such a fun sound to it, despite the seriousness of the words.

I LOVE these guys. I don’t think there is a song out by them that I haven’t enjoyed.  I sing quite loudly with this one in the car as well. Enjoy:

As always, I had a blast visiting the boys’ classrooms. While fourth grade is an adjustment for Mac, both boys are doing a great job and working hard this year.

Jesus, thank you for all that I have in this life.  Thank you that once it’s over, you’ve promised it will be even better.  But while I’m still here on this earth, help me to appreciate all that you’ve given me. Help me to enjoy the today. The here and now. Because it’s gone all too quickly.
