Noah’s Ark

Working on Mom’s bucket list took us to the Ark! (It was on my list of must sees also, so no arguments here!) Nicki, Mom, Tara and I headed south and ran into gorgeous weather!

Ready to go!

The size was very impressive!

We put the hotel address in and GPS took us to a casino instead…we rolled with it!

Class of 2024

Mac graduated this weekend. It was a great time with family and friends.

It was a rush to get things set up after the ceremony, so I didn’t get great pictures of my set up, but did get a couple to remember it by.

A Beautiful Day

Maybe middle age isn’t so bad!

Senior Year

Mac’s graduation is in 2 1/2 weeks. I am so excited for him to move on to the next phase of life, but am struggling with how fast it went! He’s been accepted into the Pathways program to the University of Illinois School of Engineering with a major in aerospace engineering. He’s very excited to say he’s a U of I student! I’m so proud of him and his goals. He is not happy that I am making him walk for graduation and he’s not happy that I’m having a party for him. (I use the word party loosely…mostly just family!)

While it is hard for me to imagine a daily life at home without my boys as they grow up, I am comforted that his plan is to live at home while doing his college years. So I know I’ll have a front row seat for a bit more.

I made him and Shannon do some senior pictures for me and this is what they came up with!
