My Baby Mac Moved Out

I don’t know how time can go so quickly, but it did. Mac moved out. It’s such a weird mix of emotions. It was time. We were all ready. But…it’s so strange to get used to. I’m so very proud of him for going out on his own and becoming an adult. But there’s definitely a hole…

His new room!

All moved in!

It’s still an empty room at our house. Not sure what to do!

Luckily, he comes back to have dinner with us at least once a week.

Family Vacation Summer of 2025

We went back to Pensacola for a week. It was a great time of relaxing and hanging out with friends and family. Florida is also cooler in June than in August! While we were there, the Blue Angels were in town practicing their show. We got to see them two days in a row!

My umbrella ready for some beach time!

My birthday dinner!

I took some video of the Blue Angels show. They are so awesome. We were very proud to be Americans and so thankful for the US Navy. It was difficult to record as they’re doing a bunch of stunts in pieces…sometimes together, sometimes splitting up. Because it was so hard to film for me sitting in my chair, I just put all my clips together in one long video if you’re interested! Shannon did an amazing job of taking pictures, obviously! I’ve included them in the June folder.

And of course, I took a million pictures, so you can check them out here in the June folder.

Motorcycle Safety Course

The boys want to drive motorcycles. I’ve told them they can do that once they turn 40. This does not please them at all. So Patrick asked to take the motorcycle safety course. I figured that’s a way for him to ride one, but in a controlled setting and learning the safe things to do while riding. So the boys took a weekend and took the course.

Course work before actually riding

It was an exhausting weekend.
