Mac wanted the baby swing, Patrick wanted the big boy swing. Go figure!

Tonight, I was stressing about something and Mac says, “If you don’t think about it, you won’t worry about it, Mom.”  I said, “Thank you, Mac! That is so true! You are so smart.”  Then  I looked at Shannon and said, “Wow, he’s learning so much!  What great advice!”  Then you know what he said?

“It’s what you told me last night about my boo-boo.  If I don’t think about it, it doesn’t hurt!”

That made me feel good.  I have done one thing right in parenting…:)  Thanks, Mac.

We had Open House at Mac’s school last week.  He gave us a tour of his classroom showing us his centers, his artwork and his teachers.  Oooo how fun it was to see him glow with pride!

Then we got a letter asking for a baby picture for a project they’re doing this week!! I LOVE stuff like this and am always baffled when parents don’t participate in these things.  I can’t wait to see what they do with it!
