The McMahon Family

It was a rough school year.  I won’t go into it all and whine now that it’s over.  I’ll just say ‘YAY’ and post a celebratory pic.  It was a gift from one of my students. 🙂

Bring on the summer and the move!!

Between Mac and Patrick’s plant units the last month of school, I’ve acquired quite a few plants.  I’m happy to report that most are surviving…most.

Mac is the catcher!

The boys had their last day at Judah.  It’s been a tough decision, but we’ve decided that they will go to public school next year once we’ve moved.  I know it’s the right decision for our family, but I’m still sad to leave Judah.  Both boys have made instant and strong bonds with their teachers and friends.  While I do look forward to them doing the same thing next year in St. Joe, these great people will be missed.

Be still my beating heart.  My boys in uniform and on a field.  My dreams are coming true. I have looked forward to the days when my boys would play my favorite sport for a long time.  I did not know how much work it would be to get them home in the evenings and off to the games every night, but we’re making it!  Of course, so far, half our games have been rained out, so we still have yet to have a full week of games. But in spite of the rushed evenings, it’s been so much fun so far to see them play.  They are both loving it!

Mac gets very nervous and tends to lock up when up to bat.  However, he’s better than he thinks and usually gets a hit!
