The boys have been into this new app that has them playing music. All I hear is annoying music playing at different speeds and them whining that they cannot pause in the middle when I tell them to turn it off.  So the other day, while waiting for Mac at practice, I had Patrick show me what it was all about. I’m completely amazed that their brains make their hands move this fast! I was so nervous watching him do it, I wouldn’t get two squares in, I’m sure.  But watch and be amazed….as I was.

There have been all these memes going around Facebook.  Instead of reposting them, I decided to collect my favorites and put them here so they can make me laugh more often. 🙂

The boys got their report cards back and let me just say: SMART!  So we went out for a night on the town to celebrate all their hard work.  Dinner at Biaggi’s then bowling!

Dinner was delicious.

And did a little celebrating.

Mac has been practicing his recorder for the last few months.  He would practice a song, then play it for his teacher to earn a ‘belt’ (ribbon) for each song he learned.  He learned all of them!

Unfortunately, the day of the concert neither Shannon or I could get off work to attend. That morning, Mac asked if we were coming.  When I told him no, he looked down and said, “Everyone else will have family there…” While he understood and was, in fact, fine when I left, it broke my heart! So I frantically called Grandpa Neukomm and he squeezed it in (amidst a busy Gordyville day!) Obviously, Mac was thrilled.

Dad was so great. He even videoed it for me and here is my favorite performance. 🙂
