We attended a friend’s wedding this month. It was a fun time to get dressed up and take some pictures together!

For the first time in 13 years, we do not have the stop motion video we have done since Patrick was born. The card was corrupt and the files couldn’t be saved. Don’t mind me over here crying about it.

I knew this day would come one day. The day my children would get in a car and drive off without me. 😳

How did 8 years go so quickly?!

We celebrated Mac turning 16 at his favorite restaurant, Oishi (somewhere in all those pictures behind him are about 4 other pictures of him celebrating there!).

I can’t say enough good things about the young man he is turning out to be. While parenting teenagers is WAY harder than I thought it would be, it’s also WAY more rewarding. I love to hang out with him. I love to text him randomly. I love that he will text me randomly. I love how, even when he doesn’t want to, he honors us by listening and following instruction – on the big things. 😉He’s a straight A student with dreams for his future. He’s a careful driver.

After dinner, I forced a little photo shoot with everyone. Losing Dad so suddenly has taught me that you never know which picture will be the last. So here we are enjoying each other while celebrating our Mac.

We drug the boys to the pumpkin patch for another year. They were thrilled. 😂
