Happy Birthday, Jesus

We attended Mac’s school program today.  His class performed two songs and he did a great job singing.  I was so proud of him!   In his first song, he wears a donkey hat and the second song is one of my favorite worship songs.  It’s been so much fun hearing him practice them the last few weeks, but even more fun seeing him perform them!  He was very serious about his performance. 🙂

First Snow

Just for future reference, weather forecasters, this is NOT 1-2 inches of snow.

Well, I had great plans of grocery shopping and actually starting my Christmas shopping this weekend…then we got ‘1-2’ inches of snow.  The boys woke up excited as if it were Christmas morning and we did have fun.  Patrick enjoyed it much more this year and Mac stayed out for a very long time!

Elf You!

A few years ago, I found the Elf Yourself and LOVED it. We sent it out to the family and enjoyed many laughs over it. Then last year, they created several different versions. I had a blast making them all and sending them out! But that leaves nothing new for this year…so I didn’t email it out to everyone. But then I thought, hey, maybe others get a kick out of it each year just as I do. Who am I to deny them the joy of watching the McMahons dance? So, without further ado:

Happy Thanksgiving!

Okay, now we’ll go back to Thanksgiving. 🙂 We have a whole list of ‘thanks’. We went to Georgia. It was a long trip, but well worth it. Patrick did get car sick the last part of the trip there, but he was fine once we arrived and got out of the car! Tom and Tara were the perfect hosts. I will never stress about packing for their place again. In the bathroom was a complete set of toiletries (even a toothbrush for the boys!) to replace anything forgotten. Tom cooked mean meals every day including ribs and steaks the first night and a complete Thanksgiving feast the next day! Shannon’s allergies were never a problem, even with four dogs! The boys had a blast with Tom’s kids, especially Dillon. He was great and entertained them the whole weekend. Then on Saturday we went to the Atlanta Aquarium. Really amazing. The boys were quite entertained, as were Mommy and Daddy! We got to pet sting rays, anemones and stand next to sharks and whale sharks! Then on the way home, the Dramamine worked for Patrick!

Thank you, God, for a great weekend! 🙂
Oh and even greater pics at Shannon’s site!
