The boys’ school had family skate night. The last time we took them skating, it didn’t go well. Neither could stand up and didn’t want to do it for very long. They were more excited to play laser tag than skate. Fast forward another year, and they had a PE unit of skating. To wrap up the unit, family skate night was scheduled, and of course, our boys wanted to go. While I agreed to support their learning in school and practice the skill, I was dreading it.
However, I was hugely surprised! They both had drastically improved!

Patrick would fall a couple times going around the rink, but by the end of the night, he could go around a couple of time with no falls! And here’s just a quick clip Shannon got for me!
