We attended our fourth Sweet Corn Festival last night. After enjoying our baby ears of corn (didn’t quite grow too big this year!), we set out for the MTD bus and helicopter.
They took away my corn face cut out thing that I threw a fit about last year! But as we were walking around looking for it, we ran into an ear of corn. So I figured, if my boys can’t be an ear of corn, they could get a pic with one.
It took a little bit of threatening persuasion, but Mac finally smiled nicely for me amidst the hundreds of people. Then on our way to the inflatables, Mac wanted to try his hand at the hammer and earned these great prizes…yeah, they’re great…
They were given the choice of playing on the inflatables or getting the prizes. They chose the prizes. I can’t decide which would have been better…standing around while they did the inflatables or bringing home these little guys. Oh well. My boys had fun and went home happy, so I guess it was a win.
