We are getting settled here in the new house.  Mac is taking a little longer to adjust to the move.  I’m not even sure Patrick has noticed we moved! He’s always on the go and doesn’t slow down long enough to pay attention to anything. 🙂  Mac has mentioned often (even tonight) how he misses the old house.  He also misses Judah.  I think that all this has stemmed from starting a new school.  Now that he’s started, he is loving school, so I imagine he’ll soon settle in nicely.  All that to say, he is not miserable by any means.  He and Patrick are enjoying themselves immensely with all the space and new things to do.

And that’s Daddy going to ask the bus driver if he saw Patrick’s backpack left on the bus. First day, he came home without it…Luckily, it was still there!

First day of taking his lunch! He’s been waiting for three years to do that.

He was a little tired that first day…okay he’s still exhausted each evening.

I’m happy to say that this year, our school prep wasn’t bad at all! Mac was covered with his appointments from kindergarten still, and so that left Patrick.  We did our usual dentist appointments and he already had his physical back in the spring when he was in for one of his many spring ailments.  So that meant we just had his eye appointment.

No glasses needed…yet.

Well, we never actually made it into Memphis, but we did get close!  We took a quick weekend to go check out Robert and Letitia’s new digs and love on the nieces for a bit before school started.  It’s actually a pretty pleasant 6 hour drive down there and the boys did great.  They were so excited to see Kennedy and Ella, they never complained once. 🙂

We had plenty of photo ops and I was a snapping fool for them.  But seriously, who can resist taking pictures of these four?  They’re so adorable together.
