Mother’s Day 2015

It was a great day of seeing each of our moms and spending time with my boys.  We did a lot of eating and gardening. 🙂

This was what Mac wrote about me. It was up on the screens in the auditorium at church.

A Beautiful Day

Despite the wind, we’ve had numerous beautiful days of sunshine.  Here was such a day.

Shelby and I were the spectators. He started out sitting with me while watching, but preferred the safety of his fenced yard once the shooting started.

Later that week, Shannon took Mac to the sportsman’s club and he got his first experience at a range.  He hit two bullseyes!

Baseball

Ah, my evenings are heaven again.  Here’s a taste of the boys practicing this week.  Each one is in a new league this year. So, Patrick will be facing the pitching machine and Mac will be facing kid pitchers and trying out new positions.

And if you can see past the bugs on my windshield and the coach standing behind him, here is Patrick’s first time against the pitching machine. Not too bad! 🙂

Spring Break

There are pros and cons to having different spring breaks from the boys.  Obviously, the down side is having to find coverage for the days I work and they’re home…but when they’re different, I get some alone time!  And perhaps my favorite thing, is that I get to visit them at school and have lunch with them.
