Basketball

Patrick decided he wanted to try basketball this year. And since we try to be good parents and allow our children to experience things they’d like to try, I have to get up early every Saturday morning and sit in a gym for two hours and watch drills of a sport I really do not like. At least this player is cute!

Pottery Fun

On our last day of Christmas vacation, the boys were feeling a little bit of cabin fever. We didn’t really go anywhere or do anything except relax and hang out with family. So Nicki and I decided to take them to the Pottery Place as they’ve been asking for a while. It was a perfect afternoon as it was pouring outside. For some reason, I didn’t take pics of the finished products! But here we are creating. 🙂

Goodbye 2016.

2016. What a year. My Cubbies made my baseball dreams come true. But it’s time to move on to 2017 and do it again! We celebrated with our besties. 😉

The drawing room. Dragon drawing, that is.

The game room

Sigh. They’re so old.

A Zoe photobomb.

Bring on 2017!

If you have an iPhone…

I would like to apologize. Patrick has discovered the joy of iMessage and is a texting fool. As soon as he sees someone he knows, he pulls out his iPod and asks for their contact info to add them to his contacts. His screen constantly has notifications (and so will yours now!) It’s hilarious to watch…unless you’re in the group chat he’s sending emoticons to…

Merry Christmas 2016

Another great year in the books. We started our celebration on Christmas Eve with Shannon’s side of the family.

We had a wonderful dinner and decided try to get a group shot.

Attempt #1: The only way to get Dale to fit in was to use the top of his head.

Attempt #2: Didn’t get Tori and Mac.

Attempt #3: It’s a blurry winner!

Once family left, the boys were ready for their Christmas Eve present. We had a great time of opening a present, listening to the Polar Express and then watching It’s a Wonderful Life as a family. PERFECT!

Christmas Eve presents

Jammies!

Just can’t wait…

Then Christmas morning arrived! Patrick read us the Christmas story,
and then we got started.

Patrick was just a little excited that he had one of the biggest presents under the tree.

“This one’s mine!”

Then it was off to Grandma Neukomm’s for more food and presents. Not too shabby of a weekend for our family. 🙂

Merry Christmas from the McMahons!
