School year that is…6th and 4th grade ended along with grade school. I now have two middle schoolers……..

And how is this for an ending? Straight As. I’d like to take a minute to just say that my boys rock school. It’s so much fun to see them take their education into their own hands and take it seriously with very little prompting from us.

If you wonder what we’ve been doing lately, just assume the answer is baseball. But man, what a season! I could bore you with all the pictures and videos I’ve taken. I’ve put together a short video of some of their hits and pitching.

Mac has been a hitting machine this year. I even lost count of how many triples he’s hit. Patrick has been a smart batter and walked a lot to become a runner and potential run for his team. Both have earned game balls and compliments from coaches on areas they’ve improved on. I can’t say how proud I am of them for not just their ability, but their sportsmanship and being there for their teams even when things aren’t going great. So proud. So here is a quick snapshot of our spring so far.

Matthew was promoted from 8th grade last night. He won the band award! Good luck in high school! We love you!

Patrick had a presentation on his given state, Colorado. I helped him rehearse his speech for weeks leading up to it. I couldn’t go, so Daddy stepped in and went. He sent this pic and said it all went well!
