Happy 15th Birthday, Mac

His day started with a return to his happy place.
The sound booth at church! We haven’t been back since March.
After church, bagels at Einstein Bros!
Then home for presents
Then dinner with his favorite people.

Some days, I can’t breathe thinking about how old he is. He starts driving this year. He’s so ready. I’m trying to be. He’s taller than me. He doesn’t want to listen to me. I know nothing; then we’re best friends and he wants to cuddle, and he sounds so responsible and sensible in his plans when talking about his future. It’s day to day over here. I never know what the day will hold. All I know for sure is how much I love him and how incredibly lucky I am to be his mom and get to watch him learn how to become a good person. ❤️

A Work Date

Mac Face-timed me at work just so we could work together. I worked at my desk at school. He worked at the kitchen table on his project.

I may not have gotten much work done. How beautiful is he? Sigh.

A Day at the Pumpkin Patch

So, I have always tried to give my kids experiences and traditions that they’ll always remember. It’s getting harder and harder to get them to go though! This year Mac was not feeling the pumpkin patch trip at all. It was the fastest trip with very few smiles…but he knew not to force the issue with the ruler picture…Teenagers are exhausting.

My favorite picture of 2020.

Dating again

It’s so great to be dating again. After 15 years of children, we can finally go out again!

That hot guy is all mine.
Aw yeah, double throw and stuck it.
And this couple we’ve been going out with…they’re the best! 🙂
Sigh. All mine. 🙂
