We started our celebration by worshipping at church. It was a great service to honor and thank Jesus for His sacrifice. We then had dinner with extended family and then home for the egg hunt. It was a great day of fun with my wonderful family.

Patrick was asked to play a song with a classmate from the school band. This classmate plays gigs at area businesses (many of them bars). He was holding a fundraiser for the SJO Fine Arts department. Patrick was happy to join him along with a small group of others. They did a phenomenal job!
The Space Ship turned 5 years old this month. I still think of it as a new van. It also hit 100,000 miles…😢

My Patrix turned 15. We had such a great time celebrating him while he enjoyed sushi. I am beyond proud of him. He’s so different than Mac and even Shannon and myself. He’s so uniquely himself and I just love that about him. He’s incredibly smart and already planning for a wonderful future of adventure. I love you, my Patrick Thomas.

Patrick had a busy band week. On Thursday, he performed his first concert in the new concert hall at the high school! They renovated the small gym to a stage with concert seating. So much better than sitting in bleachers!
Patrick is tackling a new instrument. He played trumpet in marching band but is trying the Euphonium (?). It’s rather large, but he’s rocking it!

Then on Saturday, he had the IHSA Solo Ensemble competition. He performed with his brass group. He’s the soloist in the video!
