I know I’ve posted a ton the last two days, but here’s one more for the Easter season, then I’ll take a little break and let you catch up. 🙂

We celebrated Jesus’ death and resurrection today with family. First, we attended church (all services were covered by the McMahons!), then headed to Meme’s for lunch.

After the egg hunt and fun with family there, we headed home for dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Rapp. We were exhausted, but so thankful we got to celebrate what Jesus did for us along with our families. Happy Easter! Oh and check out Shannon’s pics. 🙂
The friend you can totally be your self with.
The friend you can laugh with so hard you cry.
The friend you want to share all your good news with.
The friend you want to share all your bad news with.
The friend who will tell you when you’re wrong.
The friend who will agree with you that your husband is being a jerk.
The friend who loves your children as her own.
The friend you can be completely honest with, good or bad, and will still love you and not judge you, yet will tell you the truth.
I could go on, but you know the type of friend I’m talking about. Well, I have two of them. And one of them is moving away.
I guess the distance from here to Peoria just got a lot shorter.
Our Saturday started out with the boys attending a local Easter egg hunt (read: run as fast as you can to get an egg before the bigger, rude kids get them). Aunt Dominique took them and they had a great time, despite Patrick’s mini freak out at the beginning.
It’s time for just the boys and Aunt Dominique, so I wasn’t there to get pics. I’m told I’ll get a couple later, so I’ll share when they arrive!
Once they returned, it was time for a quick lunch and nap then off to the Moser Girls’ Farewell Ice Cream Social. It was a bittersweet time to play one more time with the girls before they move this week.

After that it was off to the Pritts’ for Jude’s first birthday party!
Whew. We made it home in time for baths and bed. We needed rest for our busy day tomorrow: Easter. 🙂
We prepared for the Easter weekend with Nicki and the boys.
Matthew’s blues, Mac’s blue and yellow and then Patrick’s love of all colors.

We found these cute egg magnets that each boy got to paint. They really loved it. See plenty more pics here and at Shannon’s site. I ‘forced’ him to take pics. 🙂
