Patrick is on the We the People team. It’s kind of like a Constitution debate team, from what I can tell. He had his first practice run through at the courthouse. He asked us not to come so he wouldn’t be too nervous this first time. He gave a stance and defended it on several issues in front of actual judges and even the mayor of Champaign. He reported back that the first one went okay, but his second round the judges told them they had the hardest question of the day and they ‘did a phenomenal job answering it’.
