Indy 2014

Nicki and I have been meaning to go visit Leslie for years…literally.  She moved to her ‘new’ house awhile ago and we always intend to go, but never find the time.  So when we saw her last week, she said she had a day off coming up!  We planned a two day trip to see her.  Then the day before leaving, we got the call that they had sickness around their house.  As much as we love her and her girls, I’m not ready to deal with illness all over again!  Plus, how crappy for her to have company right after being in bed sick for days. So we altered our plans. We chose to take the boys to Indy for the night for some fun.

Nick and I love to travel together. We are both very stress free when traveling and open to being spontaneous and changing plans when needed. So the only solid plan we had was stay in a hotel and take the boys to SkyZone at some point.  We planned the rest as we went. Here’s what we came up with. FUN!

And we forgot goggles, so had to take a quick detour to a Dick's. We found quite a few in the Indy area!

While trying to find parking so we could eat at Jimmy John’s downtown Indy, the boys saw this giant tree of lights. So after dinner, we decided to walk down and get a few pics in front of it. I LOVE Indy. So much fun.
