I knew I wanted to take the boys to Curtis Orchard this weekend. With the weather gorgeous on Saturday, this was my thought. However, we had that day pretty booked, so we decided to go first thing Sunday. We planned to be there when it opened and since it was forecasted to be a cloudy and almost rainy day, I thought for sure it wouldn’t be crowded. I was right…for the first 20 minute. 🙂 It was still a great time. The boys did the corn maze for the first time and earned a free wagon ride!
Early this week, Daddy and Patrick challenged Mac and me to a carving contest. He claimed he could make a cooler A’s pumpkin than the Cubs pumpkin we wanted to do. So, once we finished with the game fun, we got busy selecting the right pumpkins for our contest.
Mac and I were so very fortunate Grandma was there with us. We ran into a few challenges and she had the perfect solutions for us!
And because pumpkin patch fun and pumpkin carving wasn’t enough for our day, I okay’d painting of the smaller pumpkins as the boys wanted to do.
