The other day, the boys were playing outside. Suddenly, Mac comes inside walking awkwardly with a funny look on his face. When I asked him what was wrong, he said he tripped and banged his leg up on a tree. I looked down and it was pretty scraped up. I was a little shocked he wasn’t crying yet, but we told him we would need to wash it before putting a bandaid on it. He said he could take care of it. So he went to the bathroom, cleaned it up and put a couple of bandaids on. This picture is a couple of days old, so it doesn’t do it justice. He did mention how much it hurt and putting on baseball pants that evening was a little tricky. But there was no screaming. There were no tears.
Remember how it used to be? Not so pretty. Enjoy those two flashbacks. 🙂
