We Love Girls

Letitia, Kennedy and Ella came for a Christmas visit last week.  While I fell sick and missed the last day with them, we had a blast while they were here.  The boys fell instantly in love with the girls and had a great time playing and hanging out.  It didn’t hurt that it was mostly at Grandma and Grandpa Rapp’s house and Grandma had a bunch of new toys. 🙂  The girls were slightly amazed that Uncle Shannon looked a lot like their daddy.  They kept staring at him, poking at him and telling him he has chubby cheeks ‘just like Daddy’.  Shannon, of course, defended their Dad’s (and his) cheeks even pulling up pictures for them to look at.

The second evening we showed up, Shannon couldn’t come due to band practice at church.  Ella promptly asked me, “Where’s that guy who looks like my daddy?  Isn’t he coming?”  She wasn’t thrilled with my answer.

We had fun hanging out at the house, we got to show off our house and give them their birthday and Christmas presents from last year (that’s a whole other post!)!  We went to FCC’s indoor playground, enjoyed presents and took them out to eat at one of our favorite places: El Toro.

The boys are still asking when we get to see them again.  Thanks, girls, for making the trip.  We love you and can’t wait to see you again. 🙂
